Stone Island has unveiled its (Spring/Summer 2025 “Ghost”) SS25 “Ghost” collection, continuing the “Community as a Form of Research” project. This monochromatic collection highlights tonal precision, creating garments that prioritize function while maintaining clarity in design. With prominent figures like actor Ethan Ruan, NFL player Garrett Wilson, and footballer-turned-entrepreneur Hidetoshi Nakata, the collection blends simplicity with utility.

Key Pieces from the Collection

Ethan Ruan showcases the Weatherproof Cotton Canvas Ghost blazer, designed for refined utility. The fabric, woven from organic cotton fibers, naturally swells when wet, offering weather resistance without coatings. The blazer, in salt flat powder grey, is paired with matching Bermuda shorts and a cotton cashmere zip-up knit. It features patch hand pockets, inner snap-fastened pockets, and a concealed two-way zip and snap closure, providing both style and function.

Garrett Wilson presents the Alcantara® Stone Island Ghost raglan blouson, which introduces the brand’s first use of Alcantara® material. Known for its combination of craftsmanship and technology, this material results in a soft yet durable finish, also the jacket, designed with raw-cut, glued pockets, a stand collar, and elasticated cuffs and hem, is completed with the monochrome Stone Island Ghost badge, emphasizing the collection’s clean design.

Hidetoshi Nakata demonstrates the collection’s use of diagonal linen in cargo pants and an overshirt. The pale desert sand-colored overshirt has standing chest pockets, adjustable cuffs, and a hidden button placket. The monochrome Ghost badge is prominently displayed, ensuring uniformity across the pieces.

Monochromatic Design and Camouflage Concept

The Ghost collection is inspired by the concept of camouflage, using monochromatic execution to allow each garment to blend into its surroundings, also this cohesive, tonal approach is a reflection of Stone Island’s commitment to both design and functionality.

Availability

The SS25 “Ghost” collection is now available on the Stone Island webstore. This collection represents a fusion of thoughtful design and advanced materials, delivering both style and practicality.
