A Hyderabadi girl has set a new Guinness World Record for her paintings

Sangu Upasana is a well-known young artist who attempted a Guinness World Record in addition to receiving a gold medal at the ‘Online Fragrance of Art Buds International Youth and Child Art Exhibition 2018’. She reminded us that art allows one’s creativity and imagination to run wild while expressing one’s ideas and emotions. It’s clear that painting isn’t for everyone. People that are creative, on the other hand, are always looking for new ways to express themselves via their job.

Upasana previously took part in a Facebook event organized by Mayank Vyas and Dr. Mahima Gupta, in which she uploaded the majority of her paintings to Facebook in under an hour, resulting in her being inducted into the Guinness Book of World Records.

She admitted that the Guinness World Record caught her off guard. Because many public locations and galleries were closed due to the pandemic, they were asked to submit their paintings one at a time to Facebook. The event gathered a total of 797 people. Upasana, who has finished over 800 paintings, says she has always loved painting, even if it started out informally.

Upasana has been practicing yoga for seven years and has just joined in painting workshops at Simsum Arts Gallery and Studio to expand her skills. The 18-year-old reveals that, in comparison to other aspects of painting, she used to believe that sketching was the most difficult, but now that she has been instructed, she no longer believes that. She also paints in oil and acrylic in addition to drawing.

Upasana also felt compelled to devote at least two hours per day to her artwork. Her parents, who had always been supportive and provided me with all of the materials she needed to paint, owed her a duty of gratitude.
