In the run-up to New Zealand’s National Day celebrations on January 31st, five Kiwi artists have joined forces at Expo 2020 Dubai to paint a 20-meter mural that depicts the country’s colorful street art. Top street artists Eva Fuemana, John Crouch, and brothers Kairau and Earnest Bradley will join Dubai-based artist Gary Yong at Al Forsan park over the course of five days to produce the artwork, which will be set to the sounds of DJ Sir-Vere, a pioneer of South Pacific hip-hop. 20-meter mural depicting New Zealand’s dynamic street art in the run-up to the country’s national day celebrations.

The artists will work on the mural from 10:00 a.m. to 17:00 p.m. daily until the end of the month, and visitors are welcome to come to see its progress.

The artwork is part of New Zealand’s culture and entertainment programme for Expo 2020 Dubai, which was created by creative dynamo Parris Goebel. New Zealand’s culture is rich in street art, and the piece will represent the country’s theme of ‘Care for People and Place.’
