ARTOZE, a leading online art gallery in the UAE and the #11 most viewed online art gallery across the globe on its VR platform, has hosted the Grand Award Ceremony for CREATE, an Inter-School Art Exhibition and Competition in Radisson RED on 26th Feb, 2022 presented by HUAWEI AppGallery and Danube Properties, powered by Magzoid Magazine. The event was embraced with the presence of many dignified industry leaders and veterans and joined in to support the young and creative community of the UAE.
The event went by the theme, “Art and creativity can change the lives and the world for good” and saw a participation of over 1300+ students globally, out of which the 30 best artworks were selected as the finalists divided into 3 categories – category 1 (classes1-4), category 2 (classes 5-8), and category 3 (classes 9-12) and given an opportunity to exhibit during the ceremony. The event dazzled with VIPs, celebs, and guests walking through the red carpet like H.E. Laila Rahhal, Mr. Khalil AbdulWahid, Dubai Culture, Mr. Elijah Long and many more.
The Jury panel included Ms. Dina Khataan, Mr. Faisal AbdulQader, and Ms. Fatima Al Hammadi. Six winners were recognised during the ceremony and rewarded with honorary certificate, trophy alongside HUAWEI MatePad, Bluetooth headphones and many more gift cards and goodies from Galadari Motor Driving Centre, Magzoid Magazine, Magic Planet, Roll DXB, Noon, Artlab, Ferns N Petals, My Govinda’s, Young Times, Babyshop, Mai Dubai, and many other exciting gifts.
The biggest announcement came from HUAWEI, “Every winner from the competition will be invited to HUAWEI high experience centre to work closely with the team and develop blueprints for the next generation of digital artwork. HUAWEI will then convert them into HUAWEI THEMES available to millions of users across the globe!”
United by Colors, a special giant canvas that was setup where the participants had fun dipping their hands in colors, stamping and the guests acknowledged it by writing beautiful messages for them. Participants had the privilege to enjoy video gaming console at the interactive booth set up by HUWAEI during the event.
Hosted by well-renowned emcee, Mr. Bassam Nader (a.k.a. MC Bassam), the event also entertained the guests with heart-wrenching performances by dancers from Transformers Dance Studio (TDS), choreographed by Anup Bhardwaj. Talented singer Akshita Bhatia filled the whole room with warmth and joy as she captured the hearts of the audience with her soothing and mesmerizing voice. Also, the stage witnessed a very unique performance by the mentalist – Shibin Sahadevan showcasing glimpses of his extraordinary mind-reading skills that just wowed the audience and left them all amazed and spellbound.
Miss Amrita Syam turned up to be the winner of Category 1 and the runner-up was Master Advay Sureka. The Category 2 winner was Master Swaraj Jawale and the runner-up was Miss Soha Yousaf. Category 3 winner was Miss Anaishaan Sidhwa and the runner-up was Miss Eimaan Fatimah.
The artworks displayed were deeply admired and appreciated by the members of the VIPs, media, influencers, juries, and artists throughout the day. The red carpet was overwhelmed with many dignified celebs and industry veterans. Such initiatives provisioning platforms to showcase the creative talents within the younger generation would play a major role in boosting the creative economy and the overall growth of the UAE.
