The annual art fair, which runs till Saturday and follows Art Dubai, has returned to the Dubai World Trade Centre for the eighth time. This year, more than 300 artists from 50 nations are presenting their work, making it the largest edition of the festival yet.

It’s also the most varied. While there are many paintings and sculptures on display, the fair has a special emphasis on urban fashion, design, and art, as well as a section dedicated to NFTs. The works on display are all for sale, with prices ranging from a few hundred dirhams to five figures.

This year, the NFTs make their World Art Dubai premiere, with a segment dedicated to digital art. The WAD Next zone features NFT artworks by artists and galleries from the UAE, the United States, Lebanon, and Iran. Each piece of art is accompanied by a QR code that leads to an online marketplace.

The creators of the Arabic technology website MenaTech, as well as The Crypto Sheikhs Podcast, dedicated to blockchain education, will speak at WAD Next. Both novices and experts will be able to brush up on their knowledge and make their first NFT purchase in the zone.
