Award-winning Bollywood songwriter, composer, singer and performer, MITHOON will perform at Dubai’s home of live entertainment, Coca-Cola Arena on 11th June, following the final match of the World Padel League. Attendees can expect a night filled with the best Bollywood tunes, as Mithoon will perform his songs which have been the biggest hits from the Hindi film music industry in the last decade. Joining him on stage will be Indian playback singers Javed Ali, Mohammed Irfan, Asees Kaur, Abhishek Nailwal, Nakash Aziz and Vishal Mishra.
Born into a family of musicians, Mithoon started learning music at the young age of eleven. He has composed music for many popular Bollywood films such as Bas Ek Pal, Anwar, Murder 2, Jism 2, Traffic, Kabir Singh, Ek Villain, Half Girlfriend, Shivaay, Shamshera and many more. In 2013, Mithoon won the prestigious Filmfare Award in the ‘Best Music Director’ category for the song “Tum Hi Ho” from Aashiqui 2 and repeated the same feat for the film Kabir Singh in 2019. He also wrote and composed one of the most popular songs on YouTube, “Sanam Re”. The song was recognised as the ‘Most Streamed Song of 2016’ at the Global Indian Music Academy Awards. Another song that he wrote and composed “Mein Phir Bhi Tumko Chahunga” has the unique distinction of being one of the few songs that has crossed ONE BILLION views on YouTube.
Mithoon’s recent collaboration with American rapper CJ for the song ‘Whoopty’ was a huge success and it became the most streamed song of the year globally. In fact, Mithoon became the first Indian composer to get credit and royalties for his melody being used in an international track.
In 2022 his music had more than ONE BILLION streams on Spotify alone.
Notably, Mithoon always believed in working with new talent and he alone has launched the biggest singers in the country today including Atif Aslam, Shilpa Rao, Mohammed Irfan and Arijit Singh.

Javed Ali sings in Hindi and other regional Indian languages. He started singing at a young age, with his father Ustad Hamid Hussain. Javed is the voice behind several popular Bollywood songs including “Ek Din Teri Raahon Mein” (Naqaab), “Jashn-e-Bahaaran” (Jodhaa Akbar), and “Kun Faya Kun” (Rockstar). Javed has been a judge on reality shows such as Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L’il Champs 2011 and 2017, Indian Idol Season 10, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2012 and Superstar Singer 2022.
Mohammed Irfan sings predominantly in Hindi but has many popular songs in other Indian languages. Mohammed won the title of Jo Jeeta Wohi Super Star 2 in 2012 and was also a contestant on Amul STAR Voice of India and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2005. His popular songs include “Phir Mohabbat” from Murder 2 and “Behene De” from Raavan.
Asees Kaur has participated in various singing reality shows including Indian Idol and Awaz Punjab Di. In 2021, her song “Raataan Lambiyan” from the movie Shershaah became a huge hit. She has won several awards including two Filmfare awards and an IIFA Award. Asees started singing Gurbani at the age of five, and over the years she has worked with various music composers on several songs including “Bandeya re Bandeya” (Simmba), “Chogada” (Loveyatri), and “Bolna” (Kapoor & Sons) among others.
Nakash Aziz is an Indian composer and singer. He has worked as an assistant to the award-winning composer A. R. Rahman on films such as Highway, Raanjhanaa, Rockstar and Delhi 6. He is known for being the playback voice of songs like “Jabra Fan” (Fan), “Saree Ke Fall Sa”, “Gandi Baat” (R…Rajkumar) and “Dhating Naach” (Phata Poster Nikhla Hero).
Vishal Mishra is an Indian composer and singer. He first appeared on a reality show on DD National channel. Mishra made his debut as a composer in 2016 with the Tamil film Devi. He has composed songs for the movies Qarib Qarib Singlle, Munna Michael, Yamla Pagla Deewana: Phir Se, Race 3, Veere Di Wedding, and Kabir Singh among others.
Abhishek Nailwal is a Bollywood playback singer and music director. He has sung for Bollywood films such as Sarkar Raj, Naksha, Bangistan, Sorry Bhai!, 3G: A Killer Connection and Bareilly Ki Barfi among others.
Mithoon & Friends is part of the exciting line-up for the first-ever World Padel League, brought to you by the creators of the World Tennis League, to be held in partnership with Dubai Calendar and Dubai Sports Council from 8th to 11th June 2023. The tournament will comprise four teams, 24 of the world’s top-ranked Padel players and four concerts featuring internationally renowned entertainers to present the ‘Greatest Show on Court’.
