The term “virtual reality art” refers to an up-and-coming genre that makes use of VR technology to produce interactive and immersive artworks. Any type of artistic expression conceived for a virtual reality environment falls under this category.

“Street art” is a relatively new artistic movement that has been gaining momentum in recent years. This encompasses the entire spectrum of street art, from graffiti to massive murals that completely alter cityscapes.

“NFT art” is an emerging art form that uses non-fungible tokens (NFTs) to represent digital artworks. This has opened new possibilities for artists to sell and showcase their work in the digital realm.

An increasingly popular artistic practice, “upcycling art” includes reusing and repurposing existing materials to make new artwork. Everything from sculptures assembled from found materials to clothing designed from upcycled materials falls under this category.

“Interactive art” is a new art form that invites the viewer to engage in the creation or experience of the artwork. This can range from installations that react to the viewer’s motions to sculptures that are meant to be handled and engaged with.

As an emerging branch of artistic endeavors, “performance art” describes the production of in-the-moment performances that explore the porous boundaries between the aesthetic and the practical. Anything that pushes the boundaries of traditional theatre can fall into this category, from interactive installations to experimental performances.

“Holographic art” is an emerging art form that uses holographic technology to create three-dimensional artworks that appear to float in space. This can include everything from holographic sculptures to installations that create immersive environments.

“Body art” is an emerging art form that involves the use of the human body as the medium for artistic expression. This can include everything from tattoos and piercings to performance art that explores themes such as gender identity and sexuality.

An up-and-coming art form, “light art” expresses itself through the manipulation of light. This can range from light installations that transport viewers to other worlds to projection mapping used to alter existing buildings and landscapes.

“Bio-art” is an emerging art form that uses living organisms, such as bacteria and plants, as the medium for artistic expression. This form of art blurs the lines between art and science and explores the relationship between humans and the natural world.
