British abstract artist Sarah Cunningham, 31, has been reported missing in London. Last seen at 2:30 a.m. on November 2 in Camden’s Jamestown Road area, Cunningham’s disappearance was made public by Lisson Gallery, which represents her work. Her brother, Anthony Cunningham, shared on social media that Sarah was last seen leaving her apartment building, dressed in a black top, black skirt, and Converse shoes.

The Lisson Gallery issued an appeal, stating, “We encourage anyone who might have seen or heard anything, or might have any information on Sarah’s whereabouts, to please urgently contact us or the London Metropolitan Police on 101.” The gallery is in close contact with Cunningham’s family, the London Metropolitan Police, and has provided a reference number for the case (5483) to facilitate public assistance. Missing posters describe Cunningham as having a slim build and standing 5’3”.

A graduate of the Royal College of Art, Cunningham has earned significant recognition, including the Ali H. Alkazzi Scholarship. Her portfolio has been featured internationally, with exhibitions spanning London, Aspen, Berlin, and Vancouver. Her first solo exhibition took place at Lisson Gallery’s Los Angeles branch this past summer, and her work was recently shown in the London group exhibition “Accordion Fields.” Cunningham has also completed residencies, such as the La Wayaka Current Artist Residency in Panama, reflecting her commitment to immersive and global art experiences.

The London Metropolitan Police and Cunningham’s family continue their search, urging anyone with information to come forward. Her sudden disappearance has prompted widespread concern, and authorities believe public cooperation could be instrumental in the ongoing investigation.
